WALK PREVIEW

Show frame timingsWalk around with WASD

Duty factor65% planted

Cycle duration1.80 s

Foot lift12% leg length

Cycle duration sets the shortest leg group's rhythm. Longer groups keep their relative timing. Tuning resamples the current instant.

Body motion50%

Gentle bob and tilt with each step. Zero turns it off. Motion eases back when feet need more reach.

Head stabilization60%

Keep the head steadier through body bob and lean. Zero follows the body fully. This steadies position, not gaze direction.

Tail follow-through70%

Attached tails lag behind body bob and tilt, then settle. Requires Body motion above zero. Longer tails respond more slowly.

Movement lean50%

Tail sway70%

Lean into acceleration and turns; tails sway outward and trail direction changes. Braking eases the reaction back to rest.

Weight transfer0%

Torso travel limit0.15 m

Weight transfer off.

Shift toward supporting feet before lift-off. Starts briefly prepare support before stepping. Zero strength gives the original torso motion. Contact errors still report unreachable poses.

Travel speed1.00× · 0.000 m/s

Turn rateStraight

Left to turn left, right to turn right. Rate is at baseline travel speed; slowing also slows the turn. Planted feet hold their ground. Tight turns can exceed reach, shown by orange contact rings.

Starting

Stop walking slows the body, lets lifted feet land, then settles one foot at a time into the standing stance. Start walking can interrupt settling. Pause freezes time.

Show foot targets

Blue targets show intended sole positions and lift. Floor rings mark planted feet: green within 1 cm, orange for misses. Scrubbing pauses playback. These controls are not saved in the recipe.

Preview IK

Drag orange head, tail, foot or grasper targets to pose the creature. The body responds before the limbs reach. Turn off IK to return to shaping.

Bend the skeleton to inspect how the skin follows.

Zero passes shows raw provenance. Posing never remeshes; smoothing only rebinds.
